Hello!
My name is Daniel Engelhardt and I’m a junior Game Developer and CAD Drafter.
Editing maps is what I do in all relevant Engines, like Source 2, Unreal, Unity Pro Builder and Godot.
I’m often involved in lots of other things, like the player controller, scripting, animation and many effects and node setups, esp. in Godot.
Im also deep into „Scan to Mesh“ for „3D interactive display pieces“ and games. Aside from Laser scanning the location it involves working with large point clouds in Recap, Cloud compare and Blender. Also taking photos for photogrammetry and then meshing with Reality Capture, Metashape, and Meshlab.
Other work I’m currently doing is scripting in Recap and Reality Capture and using BIM and CAD software like Revit and AutoCad Architecture for creating idealized „digital twins“ of locations and buildings.
